yesterday the sun shone through the dark sky like a golden bar of blessings from heaven.
i stopped dead on my track when i caught the sight of it through the glass panelling. such a sight to behold after days and days of bleak and cold weather.
On Sunday a local colleague brought us to this one ranch for a bbq dinner. The place was awesome...located in the middle of nowhere..but totally crowded. Average waiting time for table is about 1 full hour. So.. many ppl bring beer and stuff and just sit under the trees while waiting. there's a live band playing and everything was perfect. The food....yummy!
Texas claims itself to be the bbq capital of the world. you cant get anything nearly as good as what you can find here elsewhere. I had the best brisket and sausages ever!
Went to another bbq place for lunch yesterday. Rudy's the name of the place was. also crowded. ordered the recommended extra moist brisket. the best. hands down.
Who would have thought would end like that
