hmmph..been awhile.
recent events in summary:
went to a piano bar on 6th Street afterwards...superb music!
so i showed the bouncers my passport and they were like.."woooOOoo...Zoolander!!" haha...freaks!...we have F1, twin towers, cincaluk, batik, orang utan, kinabalu, niah, the Entrapment, ...no....they chose to remember Zoolander instead...nice....
saturday!wooHoowent to the Old Settle's music festival. we went there in the morning...and got back at around midnite :) awesome...it was held in the middle of nowhere out in the country...we brought a blanket and just laid it out on the soft grass and listened to the good music all day long...it was sooo relaxing..and probably the longest time that i had spent without touching my laptop since ages ago.
the stage we chose to be at was built next to a river....and there were nice tall trees all around ..not too shady that they'd block off the sky altogether, just nice.....and the weather was just perfect...i brought a book (non-work related) with me and managed to finish it too :)
at 9pm we moved to the main stage...because Joan Osbourne was there !! awesome ...so totallly awesome performance. so...there u go..the most relaxing day i've had in texas so far.
so we laid there on the ground......with Joan Osbourne singing on stage.
Austin lives up to it's title...the live music capital of the world....indeed it is.
